Holy Cow it’s May!

Holy Cow it’s May!

I mean… at this point it’s over halfway through May… I meant to post this at the beginning of the month… oops!

Well I’ve made it this far! April’s markets were kind of eh which was to be expected… the economy is still in flames and the amount of uncertainty about the future has me feeling a little stressy-depressy at times and I’m trying my best to keep positive and not fall into the pit of despair because that would be way too convenient for the haters 😎

Coming up towards the end of this month I will be at Cherry Capital Comic Con as part of the Geek Trader Market pop-up on the first night of the convention which is both exciting and nerve-wracking. Believe it or not... I didn't originally intend for market appearances to be my main thing! I get really anxious around large crowds  but I am confident that by accommodating myself (headphones, rollator, etc.) I'm going to have a lot of fun hanging out with other geeks, gamers and sticker fanatics :)

I also am super super excited to debut my new Dopamine machine at C4! It's a super cool tabletop vending machine that I got from the lovely folks over at The ArtVend (Not sponsored or affiliated, I just love my machine so far) I'm going to be selling $5 tokens for mystery spins and so far my plans for C4 are to have

Mystery Pokémon Button Two-packs: years ago when I was a kid, I bought some Pokémon cards from a random booth at a county fair... go figure, they were definitely not real T_T I hung on to them for years because I mean... they still look really cool at least? I had no idea what I wanted to do with them until early last year I got a button making machine and decided to turn them into fun pins. They definitely aren't official merch but hey... they still look really cool and I love creative reuse ^_^

Mystery 3" Sticker Two-Packs: Sometimes when I order stickers wholesale from other artists, they send other samples/freebies. I took some of these stickers and some stickers I've designed as well and put them in mystery two packs for folks that love a little mystery. I normally sell single 3" vinyl stickers at $4 each so 2 for $5 is a great deal to get some sticker stock out to make way for new fun stuff!

Mystery Mini Dice from Foam Brain Games: I think this one explains itself :) just the mystery mini dice I've had before but now they're in a vending machine and half price! ooooh shiny! (Once these are sold out I will replace them with my usual $5 sticker rescue packs full of all sorts of goodies from vintage to vinyls)

If my Dopamine machine is a hit at C4 I may even work on trying to set up a semi-permanent location so you can get your dopamine even when I’m not out and about at events!
